Learn to think like an artist! These classes focus on drawing and painting techniques while encouraging personal expression and thoughtful concept development. (The Classes do not have to be consecutive days)
Day 1: Openly discuss the subject/theme of the art, Brain storm and sketches, minor color work
Day 2: Focus on the details- aim to complete a high quality thought out painting!

Unlike other art classes that tend to focus on still life, Whimsy Art Club focuses on a given phrase or subject and develop it into artistic expression. We focus on discussion, brainstorming and ideas before jumping into expressing through techniques!
Example: “What is a perfect day at the park look like?” “What does future city look like?”
Large-Scale Painting (36x36 Canvas)– Develops focus, patience, and bold artistic expression as kids work on a big canvas, learning about composition, Art Mediums (Acrylic or Water color with Oil Pastel), and creative decision-making.
